Answer: Some plants are grown in nursery then transplanted into fields​ as it is a very efficient method of sowing seeds because in this way only the selected plants which are healthy are taken to grow further and crop wastage is prevented. This process is called transplantation. This  process can be used with paddy, onion etc.
