Why some states have done better than other states in.Poverty line?

This is because in some states employment in the state which is mostly done.
1. In states like Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal, Chattisgarh, Bihar have mostly practiced mining
( a )mine workers are paid less salary
(B) Occupation like mining increase counties growth and helps a lot in economy as they reduce exports and increase imports but it decreases the economy of the area where it is done.
(c) The living standard of people decreases in the area and thus affects the economy of the state
2. In states like Haryana, West Bengal, Punjab, the occupation mostly practiced is farming.
(a) Farmers get a low value for the crops and thus the economy depresses.
(B) Mostly of the people suffer from dept traps and the economy depresses
(c) There is an exception in this case which is the state punjab, the economy of the state is good while farming is practiced because the state is promoting other types of jobs too which balance the economy of the state
3. In state like Mumbai, Kerela, Tamil Nadu different types of jobs are done and most of them are included in tertiary sector

If u know what is GDP(Gross Domestic Product) so u can easily understand that the share of money from primary sector is the least of all and the share of secondary and tertiary sector is compatibly high so this also matter in the economy of the place
