Why sperms are responsible for the formation of either girl child or boy?

Cause it's a reproductive cell and contains the XY enzyme for the production of a boy or a girl

its coz boys have X and Y chromosomes and girls have XX chromosomes. It depends on the sperm that which chromosome it carry and the result will be according to fusion of chromosomes. If it carry X chromosome then the baby will be a girl ie XX and if it carries Y chromosome the baby will be a boy ie XY.
