When starlight enters our atmosphere it is affected by winds in the atmosphere and by areas with different temperatures and densities. This causes the light from the star to twinkle when seen from the ground.

stars twinkling in the nigh t because TT the stars not twinkling but appear to twinkle when we see surface of earth in night because of effects of our atmosphere when starlight enter our atmosphere it is affected by winds and atmosphere .
