Why steel is not used in electromagnet I think there is no one who knows the answer

KaviVarsha: Yeh
ashadubey230: Hmse Jada pata h
KaviVarsha: haa
ashadubey230: Electromagnet jante bhi ho Kya hota h
ashadubey230: Definition batana
ashadubey230: Nhii tm khud padh l

This is because steel is act as a permanent magnet as it doesn't loose magnetisation when current is stop as switch off

Hey mate your's answer is here

The core of an electromagnet is made of an iron alloy known as soft iron. This nearly pure iron is preferred because it doesn't have a remaining magnetization after the current stops, unlike most steels. This material also has higher magnetic permeability which increases the force of the electromagnet. For it's electromagnet not used with steel.

Ab bhi sry kah ra hu miss u.
