Here is the answer

________________________
The stomata are found usually in the lower surface of the leaves so as to reduce the direct exposure to sunlight and in turn to reduce transpiration. The broad-leaved plants will have leaves with the large surface area so that the number of stomata is reduced so as to reduce the transpiration. The equal distribution of the stomata in the broad leaves will increase the transpiration since it posses a greater number of stomata.

Answer:

Stomata occur only in the lower surface of most broad leaf plants in order to reduce the chances of water loss through transpiration. When stomata would be on upper side at that time due to more no. of stomata exposing to sunlight during gaseous exchange, there would be more amount of water loss due to transpiration as compared to their position on lower surface of leaf.

whereas stomata are equally distributed on both the sides of leaf in narrow leaved plants as their surface area would be less so there wouldn't be more amount of water loss as due to the reason of less no. of stomata in direct exposure to sunlight.

One more reason to have equally distributed on both the side is to aid or help in gaseous exchange.

Intention to not to have less gaseous exchange...they are equally distributed.
