the temperature of the sun's surface is about 10340 degrees Fahrenheit (5726 degrees Celsius ).the sun burn using a nuclear fusion process ,combining hydrogen into helium .when the sun runs out of hydrogen, it will fuses helium and other heavier elements until it runs out of fuel.

Sun burns because of the fussion reaction which takes place inside it in which hydrogen fuses into helium and a log of energy is released as it is exothermic reaction heat energy is released thatswhy it looks like burning.

sun is actually white in colur but becaise of earth's atmoshpere it looks yellow.
