During sunrise or sunset the sun is near the horizon . Therefore the light coming from sun
has to travel maximum distance to reach the earth surface. Most of the
light of shorter wavelength get scattered and light of longer wavelength
reaches us. ... That's why sun appeares red.

Hey mate !!!!
⛅
sun is reddish early during the morning because due to a scattering of blue light in atmosphere maximum .
if we compare the scattering of blue light and red light ,the red light is are scattered least and the blue light a scatter most.
this is the reason due to a scattering of blue light in atmosphere the sun is latest early in the morning and also at the time of evening it is reddish .
hope it helps :D
thanks
