why sunlight in the tropical forest does not reaches the lower parts

Because of the very dense canopy, little sunlight reaches the ground. In a dense forest, the canopy trees can block out over 95% of the sunlight.

The tropical rain forest doesn't reaches the lower parts because the trees are very thick and don't allow to reach the ground. These regions received heavy rainfall thought out the year. As there is no particular dry season.
