why testes of human males are considerd extra abdominal? what is the significanse of this condition?

Testis are placed extra-abdominal, that is, outside the body as sperms require low temperature for the growth and the survival. The extra abdominal temperature is about 2 degree less than the body temperature. The significance of this position is to provide optimum temperature and environment to the sperms.
