Why the acidity is maintained 2 normal after reduction of ferric to ferrous ion?

Ferric is in +3 oxidation state and thus more electron deficient behaving as a lewis acid.

Ferrous is in +2 oxidation state and is relatively less electron deficient and won't behave as a Lewis Acid
