Why the aluminum wires are used outside the house as cables and inside the house copper is used.?

very interesting..000---:)  but mostly used copper wire not aluminium..

There are mainly four conductor. 

Gold, Silver, Cupper and aluminium. 



Gold has much less resistance, but if everything was wired with gold it would be much more expensive and weigh much more. 

Silver is very much identical with cupper but is costly. Its only few percent better than cupper. 

Economically Cupper is the cheapest, strongest material with the least resistance. It has a very high electrical conductivity, which allows us to pass a lot of electricity through it without it heating up and possibly becoming a fire hazard. It is also very ductile, which lets us make really long thin wires out of it without it breaking when we stretch it. 

Aluminum is used for wiring also. It is not as good a conductor as copper, so the wire diameter has to be larger to carry the same current. Even so, it is cost competitive with copper.
