Hey Friend! Here is your answer⏩
____________________________
During electrolysis if water hydrogen liberated is double than the amount that of oxygen because water constitution hydrogen and water atoms in the proportion of 2:1.
Therefore,it means that hydrogen is present in double of the amount than than of oxygen that's way hydrogen gas collected is more than the amount of oxygen.
2H2O(l)→2H2(g)+O2(g)2H2O(l)→2H2(g)+O2(g)
