WHY THE ATMOSPERIC PRESSURE AROUND US DOES NOT CRUSH US ?

The air pressure in different parts of our body is same as the external atmospheric pressure, hence it balances out. Our body is capable of balancing out both the pressures.

Even though atmospheric pressure is acting on our body, the internal pressure or the blood pressure balances this force, hence we are able to sustain.
