The blood isn't blue. it's red. The veins seem to be blue in color.

The veins are red too but in the white light spectrum, blue color has shorter wavelength so it does'nt penetrate through our skin and gets reflected to our eyes. So we see them blue.

Also for the former answer. Humans don't posses hemocyanin. We have hemoglobin. Hemocyanin is present in crabs, snails etc who have blue blood.
