Not only bony fish, but all fishes have a streamlined body as they have to go against the flow of water sometimes which makes it easier to travel in water for them. If their body is not streamlined then the fishes will not be able to move in water.
You can observe the same pattern in planes as their body is also streamlined so that they can cut the flow of air in a specific direction in order to move easily.
