hey here is your answer

The ammonium ion is completely symmetrical. The bond angles in the asymmetrical ammonia molecule are less than 109.5 degrees, they are about 107 degrees. This is due to the repulsion of the bonding pairs and the lone pair

Hii dear,

Bond angle of these two species can be compared by applying VSEPR theory.

according to VSEPR theory, greater the lone pair electron on the species, greater is electronic repulsion. And thus,to minimize this repulsion ,they arrange and modifies their shape and angle.

Bond angle of NH3 = 107.5°

and,that of NH4- = 109° approximately.

this is solely because number of lone pair of electron in NH3 is greater than NH4. In fact latter has no lone pair of electron as it forms coordinate bond with H+.Its shape is tetrahedral.
