# ANSWER ..!!

The Central location of India at the head of the Indian Ocean is considered of great significance because-

India is quite a centrally situated country in relation to west asia , africa and europe on the Western side and Southeast Asia and Australia on the eastern side.

⚫India is situated in Asia which is the most populous continent of the world not only this she is situated in the middle of this largest continent as much she has vast and open market very near to it on both the sides.

⚫India stands at the head of the Indian ocean and gas sea on her three sides. Thus very fact or India's strategic location on the head of the Indian Ocean has helped her to have direct trade relations to sea with all the countries of the world in the ancient and mediaeval Times.
