Why the direction of magnetic moment is opposite to direction of angular momentum?

Nuclear and electron magnetic moments are quantized, which means that they may be oriented in space at only certain discrete angles with respect to the direction of the external field. The magnetic dipole moment is a vector quantity with direction perpendicular to the current loop in the right-hand-rule direction.
