If this is a doubt then let me ease the answer for you before that lets just look at a set of examples:-
3!= 3×2×1 = 3×2!
5!= 5×4×3×2×1 = 5×4!
Now lets consider 4!= 4×3×2×1 which can also be written as 4! = 4×3×2! (Or) 4×3!
Now what about negative numbers?
If you observe carefully you will notice a pattern like this
3!=4!/4
5!=6!/6
2!=3!/3 and
0!=1!/1=1
Similarly
-1!=0!/0 = not defined
So if 4!=4×3×2×1×0×-1×-2...
Which can be written as 4×3×2×1×0×-1! Which is not defined
In more simple words
4!=4×3×2×1×0×(-1×-2×-3...)
4!=0×-infinity is an indeterminate form
