In the poem, 'Daffodils', composed by William Wordsworth, the golden daffodils are compared with the stars because, the thousands of golden daffodils that the poet saw at a glance, were shining like the stars in the dark calm sky. The daffodils had brought a pleasant lonely feeling in the poets mind and it can be compared with the feeling which often appears in the heart when anyone, after long journey of the life at the end of the day comes and takes the long breath and sits alone under the pleasant sky with pleasure and peace.
