The radius of the earth R increases when we go from the poles to the equator. Hence, the value of ‘ g ’decreases because value 'g' is inversely proportional to the radius of earth.

As R increases value of 'g' decreases because G and M are constant.
Weight of the object = mg
hope it helps

gravity decreases as we move from poles to equator Because the g is inversely proportional to radius of earth,as radius of earth is smaller at poles than at equator so value of g becomes more at poles than at equator.
If tjere is increase in g so the weight og bodu also increases.
