Dear Diary,

One of my class mate was i trouble for few days as his father was in hospital and he had to take care of him. Due to which he was unable to prepare for the exam today. I tried to help him as I knew the whole paper. But unfortunately the teacher caught me, she asked me if he was looking at my paper, I could not turn him in, so I lied.

But I do not feel bad for this lie, as showing him my paper was my choice and it was for the good and a valid reason. The teacher would not have understood this. He has already been through enough and I could not let him loose a year with this.
