Why the ground water level have gone due to increase in use of water by people

it is because ground water is in limited amount .when no. of people increase, amount of water decrease.
if population is more than use of water will also be more and it cause the gone of ground water

The water is found in the ground due to rains. In fact when rainfall occurs some water percolates down through the pores of the soil. At a certain depth the pore space in the soil is completely filled with water and the level at which this occurs is called the water level.
