HEY GOODIE!!HERE'S YOUR ANSWER!

THE HANDLES OF COOKING VESSELS ARE NOT MADE OF METALS BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD CONDUCTORS OF HEAT AND THEY CAN EASILY ALLOW THE HEAT TO PASS THROUGH THEM.

Answer:

Cooking utensils are made up of metals because they are good conductors of heat and  hence food can be easily cooked in them. Their handles are made  up of plastic because plastic is poor conductor of heat due to which the handles do not get  heated and we are able to hold the utensil with their help.
