Why the houses are painted with light and bright colored paints in tropical countries?

Darker colours tend to absorb more heat from the sunlight. Lighter colours tend to reflect them more. In tropical countries, where there is more heat due to longer exposure toward's sunlight, lighter colours are prefered as they keep the house cooler.

because dark colours absorbs more heat of sun .the weather is hot and humid in tropical countries .It reduce the heat and keep our home cool
