Let light fall at angle of incidence i on the first surface,
So, 1 sin i = n sin r, n is refractive index of glass slab.
Now, this light will go to second surface at angle of incidence equal to r as two glass slab surfaces are parallel, so,
n sin r = 1 sin e
Note that this equation is same as above so i=e, hence, the two rays are parallel
