The length of small intestine in herbivores is longer than in carnivores because the food eaten by herbivores contain cellulose takes long for digestion. On the the other hand, food eaten by carnivores do not contain cellulose

Herbivores eating grass need a longer small intestine to allow the cellulose to be digested. Whereas Meat is easier to digest, hence carnivores like tiger have shorter small intestine.
