why the lightning cause in cloud

as you can see in the above picture The Lightning causes only in the clouds because when the clouds meet each other or they get attracted towards each other because of the charges in them they collide with each other this collision a results into the friction which sources shows delight also as light travels faster than the sound we are first able to see the light and then hear the sound.
