This is a great question and often especially as children come into the teen years they begin to question or doubt that listening to their parents is important. As teen we begin to think we know more than our parents and they do not understand our needs or the world today.

However, God gave us all parents for an important reason, to teach and support and guide us into adulthood. They have lived longer and experienced life and situations longer than you have.
