Why the membrane of neuron is polarized? ​

✒A neuron is itself in a salt solution with higher concentration of Na+ ions. Inside the neuron there is a high concentration of K+ions and negetively charged protiens. This is why the neuron is polarised. This allows the transfer of impulse to take place.
