Why the nails have pointed ends

Hey friend.......!

Nails have pointed ends because pointed ends occupy a very small area , as a result of which the pressure ( = force / area ) on the walls/ objects due to the applied force is more and pins / nails can easily pierce.

A nail has a pointed end so that the surface area is less, when the surface area is less the pressure increases which makes it easy for the nail to be driven into the wall or where ever it may be inserted
