The fertility of the soil in and around this area is because of the three rivers that flow in and out of it.

That is why the area is one of the fertile areas which can be employed for growing different kinds of crops.

These crops include ragi, cotton, wheat, sugarcane etc for which the conditions are just ideal and that is why the growth is also excellent.
