The Parsis or the Indian Zoroastrians were among the first communities to adopt cricket. The Parsis were influenced by the Englishmen  because of their links with trade and business. They were on good terms with the British and often tried to be like them.They adapted the British traditions and cultures, and thus adopting the game of Englishmen, Cricket.
