Why the particles in water at 0°C ( 273 Kelvin ) have more energy as compared to particle in ice at the same temperature.

because energy is hidden in them in the form of latent .
so the particles come closer to each other and have more energy as compared to ice

Because water in liquid for have less force of attraction between their particles as compared to iceb(solid) and due to low low attraction force the movement of particles become greater as compared to ice(solid).
