Population is increasing day by day because of following :-

• Increased emissions from power plants has resulted in increase level of gases in atmosphere.

• Eutrophication in water bodies.

• Dumping of garbage in open fields.

• Use of fertilizers and pesticides regularly has resulted in leeching.

But due to the lockdown procedure, pollution has decreased.

• The rivers in Venice, Greece are now clean.
