Why the pressure below the surface of water increases with depth?

It is due to increase in hydrostatic pressure under water due to gravitational force of earth. Hydrostatic pressure is the force per unit area exerted by a liquid on an object. As water has some weight,it will put more pressure over us when we are inside the water. As much we will go deeper in water, the pressure will increase.
