why the proteins of stomach is not digested by the protein digesting enzymes secreted form gastric gland , that digest the proteins of food inside the stomach ?

In the stomach there are several musus glands....which protects the stomach......and the cell of the stomach replace after every 2-3 days..... therefore the stomach doesn't digest by the enzymes.
