why the pulmonary artery shown in the pic is blue in colour?

please answer fast for my biology board exams.......

because it pulmonary artery there is deoxygenated blood and in pulmonary vein there is oxygenated blood

Hey mate...

Here's your answer...

We know that veins carry deoxygenated blood whereas arteries
carry oxygenated blood.

But in case of pulmonary artery and veins its opposite...Thus..
pulmonary artery carry deoxygenated blood from heart to
lungs for oxygenation.

Thus unlike every other artery which is red in colour its blue in
colour.
