why the reaction of iron with steam is considered as it is reversible reaction?​ give equations ​

Answer:  This reaction is reversible because if hydrogen formed is not removed, then the iron oxide formed is reduced back to iron.

The 2 equatons are :

1) FE +O 2 + H2O (IN THE FORM OF STEAM OR MOISTURE) = FE2O3 + H2 ( CAN BE REVERSED BY HEATING)

2) 3Fe + 4H2O=Fe3O4 + 4H2

THE reason is The reaction of steam over red hot iron is also know as gazzing reaction in Lane's process....

It is considered as reversible reaction becoz it can be reversed by colding....
