The right portion of heart has three cupid valve .It contains three flap like cusps that when closed keep blood from regressing back into right atrium.

while the left portion of heart has two cupid valve ,also known as mitral valve .It contains two leaflets or cusps.It allows the blood to flow from left atrium into the left ventricle.
