Why the shape of rainbow is curved???

bcoz the surface of the earth is like circle so reflection of sun and earth create like curve. so, rainbow looks like curved....

Rainbow is formed after rainfall due to the refraction and total internal reflection of light rays through raindrops. In this phenomenon, the raindrops work as prisms. The raindrops form a cone and in this cone every raindrop forms a rainbow. So, between you and rainbow, there are so many rainbows. Actually, rainbows are circular, but half of the rainbow is covered by the horizon (land) and hence we normally see a semicircular rainbow. If we see a rainbow from the sky, then we shall see a circular rainbow. Every person has its own rainbow.
