Why the shift of the intertropical convergence zone from the equator towards the northern plain causes the monsoon to form??

You must know that winds move from high pressure to low pressure, therefore when the winds meet an area of low pressure is created on the landmass which in turn brings in winds with moisture causing rainfall. This is how the ITCZ affects the Indian monsoon.
