  • herbivore mainly eat green plants. so cellulose found in green plants forms the largest part an herbivore's food
  • Digesting cellulose takes quite long time hence herbivore have longer small intestine in which the food stays for longer duration in order to get digested properly.
  • Carnivore don't eat plants and so their diet dose not contain cellulose. so the small intestine is small in them.
