Good morning mate.

In the earth's atmosphere light undergoes dispersion and the blue wavelength light reaches our eyes . Therefore we see the colour of the sky as blue.

Now in the outerspace no atmosphere is present.. Thus there us no dispersion and splitting of light. Thus the space is dark
