Answer:

The stars twinkle in the night sky because of the effects of our atmosphere. When starlight enters our atmosphere it is affected by winds in the atmosphere and by areas with different temperatures and densities. This causes the light from the star to twinkle when seen from the ground.

scattering of light

Explanation:

stars are seems to be twinkling in night.

the light rays emmited by the stars have to scatter many small and large particals in space and in earth's atmosphere.

Due to continuous refraction and scattering of light the stars seems to be twinkling.

Also stars are not on that position which is observed by our eyes. that is slightly different.
