Why the sun is not so overhead in Agra as compared to Kolkata ?

Kolkata lie between the tropics ,they experience the vertical rays of the sun twice (usually once between March and June and second time from June to September) whereas agra lies outside the tropics ,and hence sun is not so overhead in Agra.
