Why the Tamils of Sri Lanka angry ?

Tamils of Sri Lanka were angry because their demands were repeatedly denied by the Sinhala community. Their demands were :

1. To consider Tamil an official language too.

2. A separate independent Tamil ellam

3. Rights on the basis of education , government jobs , college seats etc.

The reasons due to which Tamils of Sri Lanka was angry are as follows;

Sinhalese community did not give Tamils their benefits and their ideas were not given attention.

The government was not taking any initiatives in favor of Sinhala Tamils and they were completely alienated.

Though the Sinhalese community demanded a separate state, however, Sri Lankan people crushed their demonstrations.
