Why the tatanic only carried 20 lifeboats

because they thought that the ship(titanic) is not going to sink or there will be no accident and the captain who had an experience of 25 years also said that nothing will happen.

After listening this they thought if nothing is going to happen then why to give much life boats so,they kept only 20 life boats in the ship.

no one had thought that this will happen the world's largest ship
