There is no significant atmosphere on the moon, so it cannot trap heat or insulate the surface. Moon is the natural satellite of earth, unlike earth it doesn't have a ozone layer due to which moon cannot keep the heat from the sun for too long so the temperature falls to -190degree or even less.
